                     Image above can we relate with it ? I think yes green trees, small waterbodies, birds, sports in urban landscape. We can relate with it as a wish but not something which is readily available to all.  So as part of series related to corporators responsibilities want to cover important topic of sustainable neighborhood .  Before going into solutioning part of it lets understand and observe the problems that may occur or we would have already faced in some or the other way.  Water scarcity during summers  Increasing cost of electricity and that too with frequent power cuts. During vacation looking for place away from city which is green and has fresh air for rejuvenation. Smoggy atmosphere which may feel suffocating Debris of all kind of waste generated, which looks and smells bad   Health of people in neighbor hood getting worse day by day. ( most of them have high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid, obesity etc. which are mainly because of stress and urban lifes

    As discussed in my earlier post corporators have certain listed responsibilities to be carried out in their 5 years tenure. For most of their work they are supported by local Municipal corporation. So for these task they just have to direct authorities towards issues and get it resolved. This leaves them with ample energy and time which can directed towards other areas of improvement.  In this post we will try to explore one additional areas apart form his basic work where a corporator can work on. When we talk of development my focus would be to work it out in hierarchical fashion. Each work should act a building block for higher development. In corporate terms a project with mix waterfall model and  agile methodologies.  Waterfall model can focus on building and strengthening foundations whereas agile can be used for continuous improvement on varied fronts.     To be frank thought of this topic as election for nagarsevaks or corporators are near around. And like all elections in India, people interested in politics have already started soft campaigns. Soft because their names are not yet announced as candidates for these election. Once names of candidates to fight for post is declared then real drum beating would start.      Before we deep dive in this topics lets understand where wards is positioned in Indian politics           As you can see above diagram with flow of command where Government of India is at top and wards is the lower most node. We can say wards are working at real grass root level. And are closer to people and their ground realities. It won't be exaggeration if I say collective idea of all ward representatives is idea of whole country. So they have immense responsibilities.      Person elected as representative of ward is call corporators. They are referred by different local names depending on region.  Below are fe
